Support your people

With a 1hr - 1.5hr online or in-person session on how we can all support men’s health, both in and out of the workplace

Creating a safe, friendly, welcoming space for everyone to discuss these important issues and help men to support themselves, and help all of us to support the men in our lives

Why is this topic important?

The statistics for both mental and physical health issues for men are worrying, and these are compounded by many men not seeking support:

•Three times as many men as women die by suicide

•Men report lower levels of life satisfaction than women, according to the Government’s national well-being survey

•Men are less likely to access psychological therapies than women: only 36% of referrals to NHS talking therapies are for men

“What was brilliant to see was the mixed attendance across the whole team and the interaction 💯

It was wonderfully done and kudos to Ragini for setting it up and Tom for leading it so well. 👏🏼”

“This has really made me think differently about how to support my brother… I’d never thought as much about the impact of certain words and finding the right space to have a chat and how to really listen”

“Tom is professional, reliable and thought-provoking. What’s really impressed us is how Tom listens to where we are as a school and what we are looking for and then creates a bespoke provision that really fits the bill.

Senior Deputy Headteacher, Brookfield School

“The course was very well presented and Tom's passion for this subject and knowledge is very high. The openness that he creates to enable people to share is wonderful, also sharing his experiences to aid others. He answered all questions and no one was made to feel stupid if they did not know. All in all an exceptional course and a great instructor. Many thanks”
